But but but my parser?

But but but my parser?
Well, Red mage at higher levels is most definitely not all that easy. It's not BLM, but it's definitely not alongside SMN if you're looking to actually play the job optimally. It even has a more complex opener than ninja these days which is just wild to see. Also they don't balance the jobs around difficulty anymore, I don't think that's been a thing in years. They tend to consider if the job has buffs and rezzes more than difficulty playing the job. Endwalker RDM was far more complex to play in end game content compared to SMN but RDM did far less damage because of its utility.
Also sure, viper is pretty easy to pick up and play but they're realistically not going to have a 15% disparity between BLM/SAM/VPR. Because why bring viper if samurai ends up way above it even if viper is easier to play? We're most likely going to see those 3 jobs fairly close all expac. (poor MCH left out due to phys ranged tax) Once BLM gets some buffs it's probably safe to say that those 3 jobs will take turns being #1 depending on encounter design. Which I mean, that's how it should be. Different jobs should be better at different fights.
Blm has been at the top of the dps charts for 4 expansions.
Literally kick rocks. They can afford to let other jobs have the spotlight for a single expansion.
How about asking SMN or DRG how it felt for dps from HW to SHB. Blm isn't even in a bad place in comparison to what others have gone through for much much longer.
SMN cast time per minutes is lower than samurai so we can't just say it is "caster" + got res + got heal and utilities.Blm has been at the top of the dps charts for 4 expansions.

BLM has nothing but god and long cast + micro mechanic that you have to know it is not like "just another job that i have to play" so you can play it in high-end.
Job require a lot of knowledge to play in high-end at least it should be 10% higher damage than other ones

According to the devs looking at damage output is bad and toxic, it is against TOS to even have this picture up here, do you really think they care?
Dont get me wrong I agree, some dps jobs should do more damage than others, as well as tanks, some should have more sustainability and utility and some damage, but the devs strive to trivialize it all and make all classes equal, they are failing in that too but that is beside the point.
tldr, yes, but it will never happen unless they do it by mistake, sorry mate.
They will be buffing the blm as announced.. I don't think BLM needs to be significantly higher dps than others due to it's difficulty. I don't think any job should be cucked on it's damage potential just because it's more easy to execute. Hell you can argue that BLM is less mechanically demanding and is thus in it's own way easier than more speedy button press type jobs. Some older friends get sore fingers needing to constantly double weave and prefer BLM for being less spammy for their fingers.
BLM is in a tough spot and probably needs a rework.
It is a class designed to stand still in a game that is designed to keep you moving.
Not saying it cant be done, but the DT mechanics are going to push people away from BLM.

can i report parse in here, lmao
BLM is extremely mobile if you're skilled at the job. It's a selfish DpS-- all it has is DPS. If it's not out DPSing other casters, namely PCT, that's an objective conceptual failure of job design. The solution is not to undo what BLM is.
Also you do not need parse logs to feel and observe the imbalance of PCT.
BLM also just got a rework and it sucks.
Rather than a damage buff, I'd rather see them allow casting while moving.
