Can you turn different language settings for one character only or is it the whole cast?

After finished the MSQ in Japanese last earlier this week, I'm doing a second run in English and ... wow, this is definitely a directing issue. For example:
Near end MSQ spoiler
I just finished the fight with Otis and he's the only one sounds like a proffessional. Everyone else, Wuk, Sphene, Alise sounds completely off key
Like ... this is not even a first take. A first take would imply it's the first recording the attempts after the VAs have had some practice. This sounds more like a first read when the VAs just received the script and reading it outlout the very first time in order to coop a few for their character. A highschool theater club would do a better job than this. And what the hell happened to Urianger, he's one of the few where the English VA is usually better than Japanese VA, but here he sounds almost pretentious.
When I get to DT and get to experience the voice acting myself, if Square ever fixes the eye straining graphics update issues, I'll be excited to see how I feel about it and then summarily stop caring 5 seconds later since I've played ARR a dozen times and sat through all of its abysmal voice acting.
I really thought we would've re-recorded ARR at some point lmao but Square is too busy spending the budget on pachinko probably
This isn't a statement to say "you're dumb for caring about the voice acting!!" Because I think all feedback is good and valid when it comes from a place of genuine criticism, I just think it's funny everyone cares when I can still go from one part of this game to the other and hear the jarring awful voice acting switch.
I'm definitely used to MMOs that feed me everything through silent text boxes and old abysmal JRPG voice acting. Or characters just being voiced by random noises and beeps.
Oh well, whether she did a good job or a bad job, she made all the right people mad and that's a priceless gift. Watching people cope and seethe online almost makes up for not getting to play the game right now.
it/its - 14 accessibility is bad, ease of access is not accessibility, jobs are boring. Transphobia ruins real attempts at criticism and it's whack.
I think her voice is great! I read an interview about her getting this role and it was pretty cool. I'm so happy for her to get her dream to voice this character. I'm on an EU server so I don't know if that makes a difference...
Last I heard, the English voice actor of Wuk Lamat set most social media accounts to Protected.
As a man of hispanic origin living in the US I felt offended by Wuk's EN voice, she doesn't even sound like a ESL Spanish person trying to speak English it sounds more like an offensive stereotype! I don't like how the VA was some white lady doing the voicework out of "social justice" or whatnot if they were serious they would've hired a Latina VA with actual credentials to do the work, not some lady who had maybe a taco from a Mexican restaurant and that was her entire resume for getting the job.

dawntrail just one of those animes u watch subbed
Had to add that the voice acting in the last trial was so so bad, it ruined it for me. The whole time I could not stop cringing, because where it’s supposed to sound like emotion, it sounded so flat. I hated it. Don’t care who voices Wuk and why they got the part, but holy hell was it bad. Never mind the forced, fake accent.
