For a blessing, that sequence will most likely not be in the EX. The scions' prayers in EW didn't make the cut in Endsinger EX either.

Doubt it, the twitter reception has been nothing but positive. If anything, we might see Wuk until the next expansion since she is now an established "Tural connection" for the scion. Moreover, I believe that most content creators will like Wuk too because how naive and likable(?)/adorable she is. With such positive reception, Wuk might become a main stay for a scion and there are going to be more Wuk-like characters in the future.

Most of what I've seen is people saying "I'm only through the level 93 content and I would die for Wuk, why does everyone hate her again? NO SPOILERS"
which yeah, if you can't show the clip from the level 100 trial or reference anything that happens post-95 then it really hamstrings your arguments.

D really is important, even after Sphene says many many times that she will genocide the source to save Alexandria, Wuk keeps beating her head agaisnt the wall over and over and over trying to convince her, to the point of stopping us mid-trial to try to reason with Sphene again.
Like come ON, Wuk went through the same stuff we did (since she was firmly welded to our hip the entire expansion), she should KNOW that Sphene cannot be reasoned with and it's either her or the source, so just kill her and save everyone.
This is beyond the naivete of even dense anime protagonists, this is almost intentionally obtuse to reality.

Also because we already have Alphinaud who owns his "naive" idealism perfectly. He does the exact same, but he's not an idiot. He doesn't almost always try to find common ground because he has deluded expectations, but because he genuinely believes it's the right thing for him to do regardless of the odds. He goes into so many situations fully understanding it's a futile effort to reason with half the people we end up fighting, but also that he'd quickly become a worse version of himself if he just launched WoL at the problem without even trying.

Which also plays into the relationship they wrote between WoL and Alphinaud, him first just seeing us as exactly that kind of blunt object. He's not written to be that character who steals the moment when he tells WoL to hang back to do his own thing, but someone who steps in exactly because he respects WoL too much to just use them as a tool of violence.

They used the characters to prop up each other and succeeded, while DT tries to do so at the other's expense and fails.

Honestly it keeps getting worse, I hope you have more strength than me but I don't think I have the strength to force myself to do the story anymore

Wuk Lamat is everywhere. She is front and center this entire expansion and I was fine with it. I understood we were sort of mentoring her and raising her up and I was on board with that. I got that she was supposed to be young, naive and insecure. All good. But in the last trial fight, the one where we could have gone full Warrior of Light and just shown that yes indeed, there is things only the WoL and his companions can accomplish... she comes in, shouts her nonsense and gives us HER buff. No, we don't get Brilliant Conviction or any other WoL-themed buff. We get a Wuk-themed buff. By that moment my feelings towards her instantly dipped into the negative, and far. They couldn't even give us that one tiny moment apart from her. She HAD to appear. She HAD to claim the victory. She HAD to keep yapping.
