It all seems pretty cut and dry to me

A entry account holder gets one char per server with a maximum of 8 characters across all worlds.

A Standard/Legacy account holder gets to make up to 8 char's per server with a max of 40 across all worlds.

The only other fee's mentioned are additional retainers.

Charging 3/perchar with this new price scheme would be beyond redundant.

I know square has pulled some bone headed moves before, But charging people extra for the privilege of paying them even more money would be beyond incompetent.

I'm assuming upon said time that we qualify. You will get a Notification from SQNX Account Management. You will probably be asked to type what the name you want to be listed.

Fanastic news! Even though I think it's a little silly that they have to delay things that have already been delayed to begin with, I think it's great that they decided to still go through with the late April release of 1.22.

Hyrstmill is going to be a right mess until May 10, though.

I don't think it will be SQEX account system, but lodestone, there will be a page to regester, you login before you visit the page and if its your character name you will select a radio button next to the character you want to regester.

If its rl name once you regester it will be pulled from your account, or if its a choice radio buttons for either the character you want to use or your real name.

A choice of character or real name will be the best option, some people will like thier real name and some will prefer character names, personnaly I will prefer my real name.

Anyhow, can we have a clarifications on AF weapons ? for "postoned" is assumed 1.22x or 1.23 ?

It's not an assumption, and requires no clarification, it's incredibly clear. If it simply meant "max number of characters you can pay for per world" there would be no "entry level" subscription option.

Basically, they realized having to pay per character is archaic, obnoxious and totally unexpected for a subscription based MMO. But it does take up a lot more data, so they can offer a reduced price for players who only want 1 character.
