Funny how your tune has changed now that one of *your* characters were affected
What happened to "faithful adaptations" and not being able to tell a difference?
The devs have already communicated that they're still making changes based on feedback, post-launch. Will they roll back or give us some of kind of toggle? I sincerely doubt that. Will everyone's concerns be addressed? Probably not. But the point of much of the feedback here is just to communicate where and how we'd like to see any future changes implemented, and raise visibility. That's how this works. This reminds me of when WoW updated their character models and people whined and whined, and nothing was ever done about it and they moved on.
I'm sorry people but they aren't going to revert the graphics engine update because your eyebrows look slightly different and your ear textures were improved.
so my actual only issue with the graphical update is with the au ra racial hairs. i've been using this shorter hair that's meant for xaelas and it's so pretty but the like horn thing textures were completely untouched which sucks.
i think it would be a good idea to either remove these horn things or make variants without them so there isn't the two horn colors going on. at the very least the textures should be brought in line with the actual horn textures.
here's a picture with more of my character's horns in shot just in case it wasn't apparent how stark the texture differences are:

My FC members are saying that they turned off DLSS and switched to AMD and that fixed the issue for now
It's simple, I can tell differences where there are differences
And even if I am disappointed with some of the changes, I'm not having a meltie on the forums
*clap* *clap*
Well done, you played yourself
Thanks to you and everyone else who'd rather sweep it under the rug and attempt to gaslight anyone who thought otherwise, you can now enjoy living with the consequences
Sorry about your Elezen!

I just want a option to disable upscaling. It's something you use, when your GPU is too weak to render in native resolution. It doesn't improve graphics quality.
Running the game at 1440p ultra settings, with fps limited to 60... I'll let my WoL point at the problem.

They never did move on though? I regularly talk to people who play WoW who are still bitter about it, and it’s pretty much universal that everyone I’ve asked hated it when it happened. It turns out if you let people spend years getting attached to a character, suddenly changing that character rubs lots of those people the wrong way! Maybe you don’t get attached to things, and that’s fine for you, but maybe step outside yourself for even a second and consider others. This reminds me of when WoW updated their character models and people whined and whined, and nothing was ever done about it and they moved on.

They really did you dirty, same as my miqote, they complettely changed the face for no reason. Your old one looks way better. They need to remove those changes.
The model updates in WoW were also a much more radical change in style, going from something that looked like a higher definition Warcraft 3 model to something more like a Dreamworks character. The fact that they later removed the toggle for the old models(IIRC they didn't want to backport new customization options) was also bad. They never did move on though?
