please no, the 1st adventure with him being write horriblely still leave sand in my mouth, just go back to good old "super hero save the world" story, EW last zone and dragon background prove that outside of space still many other races as ancient as ascian, just pull one of them to be our new enemy

i am really interest in that omega races backgrouns story where they just turn a whole races into machine and invade other worlds, that also make SB raid become mandatory if they use it

I mean, Erenville is a specialist for animals and all kinds of living specimen. Perhaps he should take the next step in his educational journey and become a dragon expert. This somehow leads us to Meracydia where we coincidentally get entangled in another big story! Ok I'm not being super serious. But all jokes aside, I don't disagree. I'd also love to learn more about other races. I don't think adventuring with Erenville and ending up in an epic story line are mutually exclusive.

(I think most people don't want a whole expansion that plays like the wild west quest, I don't want that either! Imo it is more about how this sidequest had a much better pacing and rising of stakes. We started slowly and seemingly without any trouble, got involved in some small shenanigans and suddenly we were in the middle of something bigger. Plus we actually did stuff instead of just nodding to Wuk Lamat's words.)

It was very interesting having Erenville basically say "please don't slaughter everyone" and express concern with how violent and ruthless we can be. It was a nice change, right up until we decided to track down Wuk Lamat's nanny's bracelet.

I agree that it allows for different storytelling, and doesn't just include the Scions standing around sounding, well, I'd say smart, but this expansion was a bit "omg, this key is blue, and that door is blue, MAYBE the key fits the door??!!" style of exposition.

Even tracking down Nammika's bracelet was nice honestly. Despite her relation to Wuk Lamat, she really is a pleasant woman from what little we got to know of her. And it did let Erenville's smarts shine with how he had us approach the bandit situation. Maybe because Shaaloni happened to be exactly what I wanted from the expansion.

This. Erenville wants to fulfill his promise to his mother and travel the world. There's loads of potential for amazing adventures and storylines that he could join us on.
