Turns out someone named Kate and Danny are the reason the voice director was so terrible. Koji not being in charge really did lower the standard it seems...

He also hinted at them having trouble casting which is probably why they hired such weak voice actors though still no excuse as to why the main stays sounded terrible as well.

Also, that message made me sad. Luis commented how he is only casted for Latino roles. Unfortunately, that seems like the path of the industry now. You must be the ethnicity of the character you want voice act. You no longer have the agency of talent to mask and mimic other voices. I remember ProZD whining about this recently about how now he is only cast for Asian roles. It really feels like these localizers in an effort to not appear racist just end up being more racist.

I'm not going to steal your thread, but they played it so safe with the Native American tribe in Zone 4 to the point it's misrepresentative.
