This is something that people unhappy with our criticism tend to overlook. Often on purpose, I suspect. Like it's "MSQ or nothing".

I soldiered though MSQ because I still love the game and I want to play its other aspects. It just happens that in this expansion I have to go though horrible slog first.

You are talking about something I didn't even mentioned. But let me tell you: the opinions and critiques are about THE STORY, some of the msq gameplay and the rest is praising the new zones, dungeons and trials which are good. So of course, people will still play it even if they despise the story of DT and Wuk Lamat. Because there is still something, and many of us paid the sub to play with friends too. So it's not like you are special saying this. Even disliking it fully, I have a subscription, I have friends to play with, and etc. Disliking it doesn't mean you go to play other games and that's it. It's just many people dropped the game because for them the Story and Wuk Lamat are reason enough. And don't let me start on how many people is sad about the change of the graphics of their WoL. But that has nothing to do with the main theme here, which is: the story is bad, and most of it comes from Wuk Lamat character.

And I talked literally about doing other things within game aswell as im not the biggest WL fan I just tolerate her and If I was fully unhappy with the game I would do the sensible thing of putting the game down cancelling my sub and doing something else...

If YoshiP has his balls intact, he will tell his team to slam the brakes on 7.1 and remake that shit. If I see any more of Wuk Lumat I'm quitting. This was a horrible expansion for so many reasons.

All I'm gonna say is the story is planned and paid for, they won't change it now.

One last thing to note, smart people do NOT come to these forums, I feel stupid for even trying to participate, you guys all have fun, im logging out of these forums now as it's just a circlejerk of negativity no positivity about the game is allowed, fml.

I agree DT is trash and WL is the worst addition to the game. (Don't dare diss the English v/a though or you'll get every label under the sun against you)

Personal problems of EN VA are irrelevant. It doesn't matter who you are, what you are and where you crawled out from. If you can't do your job properly, someone else should take the spot.

Like wtf I just said what people is doing and how they are having fun in other areas and how people who don't like it just dropped the game because this is true and many people is saying it in this forum and reddit? I would advice you r/ffxiv, they are known to be super positive about the game, to the point negativity is usually downvoted to oblivion, but even there they have the same discourse as here this time.

Actually r/ffxiv has become uncharacteristically critical, same with r/ffxivdiscussion. r/ShitpostXIV is where you want to go, they love strawmanning any complaints over there, which is shame as dunking on DT has some truly great shitpost potential, but they care more about whiteknighting the game than posting anything actually fun.
