I believe Wuk Lamat is going to become an integral part of the story until 9.0. After the end of the story, she has become a "Tural" guy of the scion, if there is anything Tural related, they are going to contact or interact with Wuk Lamat in some way. Hell, they may even elevate her to the "unofficial" member of the Scion due to her status and connection to WoL, former employer, companion, and semi-savior.
