Fisher NEEDS a rework

Fishing is more of a hobby than a dedicated gathering job in this game. I level mine so I can get what little I need for crafting on my own then otherwise ignore it. I've got much better ways to make gil.

If you're trying to make gil from it, go after the more interesting aquarium fish. Some will have good market value depending on popularity and how much effort is needed to get them.

Then why it is a separate gatherinmg job, with its own tools, MASSIVE fishing log and even it's own minigame for spearfishing? They clearly wanted fisher to be more than just a hobby, even judging by a sheer amount of effort they put into it, from descriptions of every fish, 95% of which are just useless fillers, to different baits, aquarium fishes, fishes on canvases etc etc etc

It's a helluva lot of effort for a hobby job to me. And it does seem like wasted effort because most of fisher's content do not have practical uses.
