Bumping because plenty of headgear in 7.0 still hides the ears (and some the tails!).

Additionally, the level 97 dungeon glamour headpiece for Fending and Maiming jobs has ear compartments for miqo'te but they're weirdly placed: they do not correlate to where the ears are meant to be. The compartments are kind of facing forward, as if they were horns.

This is just a consequence of them designing gear for hyur first and the rest of the races second. All they have to do is make the ear compartments go towards the back of the skull in this particular case to make it more logical.

Ideally, they should redesign the headpiece so that the circular parts from where the ear compartments come from are further back on the helmet but I doubt this will happen.

There is also a bug with the level 97 Aiming/Striking/Scouting headpiece that shows black textures/clipping at the base of the ears for male miqo'te. These ones are likely there due to the original cap's color but they forgot to make sure they didn't show for miqo'te. I have written a bug post about it which I hope will get accepted.

This has always been an issue with the majority of ear socks for gear that has it. The modellers don't seem to check back to the character model at all to see where the ears are positioned, they just stick two (usually comically undersized) pointy bits wherever they think looks about right.

Reviewing the hats and making them fit the ears properly is the sort of thing I would have actually wanted the devs to put their "graphics improvement" budget into.
