    I still question their reasons for why they are incapable of adding a glamour log.

    We know they are capable of adding new systems to the game as seen with Lord of Verminion and Mahjong.

    We also know that items can be used to trigger achievements, that achievements can generate items and that there are items that generate multiple other items. All of these are systems that could have been used for a more ham-fisted implementation for glamour logs.

    That's what they could use the achievement for. And maybe some behind the scenes behaviour, to prevent players from scrapping items. Use achievement to look at what is obtained -> generate items from that achievement into an inaccessible inventory and apply glamour to equipment -> delete items.

    Yeah not exactly pretty but it gets the job done.
