I feel ya... Face 4 Miqo was always one of my favourites!
We also used to have nostrils that weren't just punched in, and added a lot to the stylization (I really miss that stylistic choice)(and lips too ;__; ):

Hello. Male Midlander face 3 here. I love the new graphics update and looking forward to future updates.
However in my character case, the beard remain unchanged and still appear as low resolution. It has been like this since the first benchmark.
6.58 / benchmark 1.0 / benchmark 1.1 / 7.0 (ps4)
I don't have access to my pc and I can't try ps5 version yet but I doubt it will be different. The beard is still broken.
I made comments about this in the previous benchmark feedback threads and it hasn't been fix.
In live game the seams between hair and beard are softer than the benchmark but they are still quite jarring when look up close.
The same problem also affects the NPCs. Poor Alberic wishes an update too.
From distance it appears fine but as you can see from the benchmark pictures, in certain angles and lightings the beard can look very broken and act weirdly. I don't want to start MSQ with my broken beard. Please fix this and give us new beard already, I am quite jealous of other faces and races ;_;. Thank you.

I don't even know if feedback still works.
I've helped/supported many other elezen players posting their feedback, and I've written some too.
But there's still almost no change, we're just being ignored.
The character in game now is still totally different person with the past one, and it's even worse than the 2 benckmarks
If I force myself to get used to it, I might eventually get used to the new graphics. But when that day comes, the image of what I really loved and missed in my mind will slowly fade away. So, though I've already subscribed for 6 months in June, I can't continue playing the game now.

I know eyes, eyebrows, and several other shapes have gotten changes. Some are more subtle than others, but I don't mind them. So long as the character still looks good and the changes aren't too huge, I can accept them.
What I can't stand is the lips. All of them seem to have gotten new, unappealing shapes, and have lost their glossiness and gradient textures. They make characters look much worse to me. Their changes also are anything but subtle, and don't suggest that the intent was to "alter the character's appearances as little as possible".
I'm a bit frustrated because I no longer like how most characters look now, especially female hyurs, which were my main.

I use face 5 for male midlanders which is the same as the posterboy meteor's but without the stubble and to me a lot about my characters face changed. The main issue for me has been how it seems like that with distance the eyes get suuper small and the depth on the nose doesnt change. He seems to also look different in nearly every cutscene its like with every new angle his face morphs into something new. I think the issue is the eyes and the complexion on the nose making it have no depth unless you look closely while zoomed in. While zoomed out the nose bridge looks to be gone and the nose look like a continuation of the forhead. Also as a last thing the skintones seems a lot darker in general. I really liked my old midlander and I feel like a lot of what made him well him is now gone.

That's quite interesting. Whereas our characters now have too much "forced shadow" at the top of the eyeballs (near the upper eyelid), now she doesn't have ANY at all. She has the same problem... just in reverse. So, were playing and got to meet Merlwyb again during the main story. Had to take a photo because she now too looks super off from her usual self with the changes to roegadyn.
I don't know if it is the angle of the cut-scene or what but.. just the eyes in particular is more crazy and wider than usual now.. and her smiling earlier in that scene got even more of that crazy "i'm gonna murder you" feel over the actual happy scene.
Again i don't have a before.. but most should know how Merlwyb looks right? So it isn't just player character that looks waaay different... but important npcs too.

Lalafell Face 2 here. Lips look far thinner than before, to the point expressions like 'Grin' look outright unnatural. I feel like most people's complaints fundamentally stem from the global nerf to lips, and the slight head squish.
Now, I can easily explain the plumper face as "Oh, she ate too many tacos", but the lips being nerfed is a major problem I think across the board, as it takes away a lot of the charm from Lalafell.
Viera, face 1 here. The portraits in the new lighting look... off. The eyes especially, they're so extremely soft you can't even see the whites of your eyes here, just a very dark pupil. Before we had much more defined/sharper looks, feels like they've been airbrushed a few too many times. And overall the facial features have been softened, the cheeks look much more plump compared to before (sadly I wasn't wise enough to take shots of these before DT)

I'm 100% certain something with the lighting in portaits broke and it isn't reflecting properly... wish I took more before pictures as wellViera, face 1 here.
