You mention Ifrit primal fight as your point of reference. How bout the new dungeons? Or even moogle? PLD is broken, but it isn't exactly impossible to do properly. The fact that warriors make better tanks piss me off but I'm not gonna deny the fact that my favorite class/job is broken (yet again). Let's be realistic.

it saddens me. like you it is my favorite class to play.

thing is i can tank on paladin i can do all that stuff time my stoneskins etc. but i can still generate ALOT more emnity on my war.
annnddddd to put it simply.
the more emnity the tank generates, the more emnity the dd can safely generate which ultimately = more damage + faster fights

You just need to practice your PLD a bit.
I will steal a mob from a WAR anytime... (given we are wearing same gear on us as far as enmity goes)

I've been called legendary at paladin by many people but please do elaborate. If you have genuinely awesome info that makes me a better paladin then I am genuinely interested to learn. but unless there's some secret ability that magically reduces all of my recast timers that I don't know about then I don't see how I can possibly generate significantly more emnity.

But as stated in my earlier post it is my favorite job so always interested in playing it better.

Quoted for truth. It's certainly not the case that maybe 9/10 people take a warrior just because noone knows how to play paladin. It's not rocket science.

Actually 9/10 people don't know how to play PLD because they aren't playing it, they are tanking on WAR.
It really isn't rocket science, peeps just don't do PLD often is all.

i dont know why pld doesn't have a stance option guard/attack. low dps in guard mode with a focus on blocking.

There actually was such a feature, but then SE was all like
"Hey this actually makes sense. REMOVE IT!"

The Majority often makes mistakes too. and really huge ones. just look back in history.

To the peeps sayin PLD is my favorite class but i am playing WAR for this and that reason well....

The reason Paladin is broken is it doesn't do enough damage, end of story. We have to finish Cutter's and Aurum within 25 minutes. If Paladin were completely invincible and never lost hate, we still wouldn't use one, because Warrior's are still easy to heal and pump out so much more damage.
