Liberal use of blacklisting and term filtering.
Too bad is only 10 words. You know people will try to find ways around it.
They're spammers. Of course they'll do it. Make no mistake these guys aren't cute little kids playing house, they're spammers running a business that in one way or another makes them real life money.
Posts like this are the reason - before you say anything, no im bisexual myself so im surely not homophobic - but how these terms get shoved int EVERYTHING all the time is just way too much and no one should be surprised of the opposing reaction...I'm alarmed by the number of people who are using the chat filter to censor out "LGBT". I don't see any good reason why anyone would want to censor that out.
I'm really afraid that the chat filter is going to be abused for homophobic purposes. We are already seeing a lot of people doing exactly that by censoring out "LGBT".
Please change this, please. Prevent people from being able to filter "LGBT". We should not give people the tool to censor out real individuals they don't want to see.

Yep, these are the FF14 forums alright

And still, there's people out there in the game shouting they're LGBT out loud either via public venues, their search comments, and their FC's. As a matter of fact, there's a FC that's named "LGBT". No problem with anybody being LGBT or not, I just don't care about their privacy, and they're making sure everyone else knows for a very specific reason. We all know what that reason is, just so they can feel morally superior, so this thread being bait or not is irrelevant as it still serves its purpose to those who feel the need to stand out by letting us know what they're into. As if anybody cared about anyone's sexual orientation, or even their kinks.

If LGBTQ appears in most venue spam, I'll use it to mute them, or any other term that occurs more frequently.
