That's EXACTLY what the filter is there for. To filter out stuff you don't want to see. It's no different to a black list or anything else.

Really it doesn't matter what he thinks. Most of the XIV community is friendly and open in game. People walking around calling themselves "normal" would probably be the actual minority. Let them filter in their own little corner lol.

I'm just never impressed by someone acting tough as they anticipate the support of the vast majority to attack a vulnerable group.

There was a situation IRL where this guy was following around a small probably gay man calling him the f-slur. I stopped him and told him if he wants to fight someone he can fight me. He walked away.

I don't think people need to actively support things outside their value system, but being antagonistic, being "proudly intolerant" is shameful. That person can go f-off.

Why do some people always try to push their personal agenda into a freaking game. It's getting tiring. I was not planning on muting specific words, but I can understand why people choose to block and mute anything related to Lgbtqia+.

for 1 its not even new, I mean most comics had peoples agendas in things such as war, Almost everything in this world has agened put into it, Why are people acting like its new its been like that well longer than most people alive have been alive lol.

there is a difference between finesse and subtlety versus just shoving the message down someones throat, old comics and story's explored topical issues via a new light versus now days its just to blatant and quite frankly annoying. your gender identity and sexuality is not a personality.

not to mention most comics stuff was a case of reading in to things that were not there, for instance people hail the xmen for being a reflection of the cival rights movement, yet the creator had no intention of that and is on record saying it was not ever meant to be that.
