IDK about others but with me i'm planning to filter it because those advertisments are not targeted for me anyway and thus pointless filler in my chat. Besides that, where i'm from there's no need to highlight it as being something special so it just vaguely seems ridiculous to me. Especially if it's for some kind of event i'll just assume it's specifically for LGBT if you feel the need to advertise it and mention it, so again that wouldn't be targeted to me.

Seems like a pretty safe thing to filter. But you're worried about the 'bad' people filtering it right? Wouldn't that be in your favor as well though? If there are indeed hateful people and they'd filter you then that works in your favor, since you wouldn't want them to engage with you anyway.

They know that a large portion of the player base wont have to put up with their -redacted- so of course there will be someone on the forums crying about it.
