I know, YOU use 10 glamour plates and forgo using the rest, we'll all do our thing. Everyone is happy, you feel righteous and we get plenty of plates, win win.
Yeah, I also think we need FEWER threads on the forum.
well since femaleroth cant wear hats and most gear isnt goth/emo enough for me I dont have much to worry about one good thing i guess of them not adding enough of my styles is I dont have to use that many plates
although with the new duel dye system that might change big time since that will allow me to create my own goth/emo outfits for the most part - starts singing monster high intro as i design my own styles-
Disagree. Only reasoning behind this would be that you only have 2-3 jobs that you play. What about players that want to use all their jobs and want glams for all ---> 21 <--- jobs. That's without counting all the crafters and gatherers as well as blue mage and beastmaster. That's 34 playable jobs that each have unique gear they can wear.
Need at minimum 1 glamour plate per job and additional x number of plates just for casual glams.

I understand the sentiments behind your words OP, and to an extent, it’s not a bad wish. If I’m stating it right, with less plates, players will be forced to put more thought into their limited glams and raise the overall community visual. There’s truth in that. However. . .
The reverse side of that coin punishes artists like myself who love nothing more than designing new and badass glams simply for love of the art form. Assembling new pieces with old to make something genuinely unique, then slowly refining it (especially with the new dye system) to make something that was hi grade, master grade. While there ARE some glaring flaws (too many skirts on armor) the artists/devs are constantly putting out beautiful pieces to tinker with in combination. . .and the current number of glam plates allow for some generously diverse creations. For those with a passion for it, creating fascinating glams is one of the most rewarding things about ff, because of some of the lengths you have to go to get particular pieces. Openly asking to reduce that joy. . .
Nope.
‘He who has no expectations will never be disappointed.’
How about you just feel free to challenge yourself by stating you will only use plates 1-5, and let those of us who like to vary appearance based on jobs have more plates.
OP's idea sounds like a quite pointless inconvenience.
Also those people who run around naked with a huge mascot head probably only need ONE plate, so ... won't help with that lol.
