What do you expect the drop rate to be like? If the drop rate was the way you wanted it to be, nobody would have anything to do, because if you had all weapons you are hardly gonna want to do ifrit/moogle any more are you.
Took me a good 150+ runs on both for 7/7. If the drop rate was the way you people keep moaning about the way you want it, i would of had nothing to do untill the next patch was out. The drop rate is fine, leave it be.

I don't know that people want a better drop rate as much as they want the ability to pass duplicate weapons from the loot list for... wait... why are we all still discussing this... how many threads are there on this....

I know why there are so many threads on drop rates though....
This entire argument is a way for people to vent about the lack of content... we know content is coming in 2.0, so we can't directly say "I am pissed because there is no content" because then people would flame you for being an impatient douche... And its true... the PDFs show serious content is coming in 2.0

But the problem for right now is we get 1 or 2 pieces of content every couple months... which really is NOT enough to keep people interested.... so SE makes the drop rates crap.... So you have to do that 1 piece of content for the entire 2 month span until the next content comes out....

And like I said... we've evolved to a point where we can't complain about the lack of content...
So we complain about drops... which is indirectly complaining about a lack of content
