lol How you post your opinions is funny to me.

On topic: It would be cool to customize the UI a bit. One thing I did like with WoW mods were changing the UI. SE doesn't need to go that far in freedom but custom looks(maybe some preset designs?) I would agree with.

The excuse I read somewhere online a long time ago for why FFXI never got a UI upgrade had something to do with the PS2 and the reason PC users didn't get any upgrade is they didn't want to give an unfair advantage to PC users.

I don't think we're going to get mod freedoms for UI, although I admit I really liked that about some other mmos.

I don't think UI mods really give a big advantage.... in WOW for example i can play just as well with the standard UI or with all my mods on. That being said, they don't need to gives us MODs, they could just change the current UI for something better, because i find it very poorly designed.

PS3 having a HDD.... wouldn't it be possible to use Mods?

Dunno. Don't own a PS3. Hardly any worthwhile games on it.

The advantage a mod would have over the regular UI is things like - having your ammo visible on the screen at all times, or being able to measure your target's distance. These small things aren't a 'huge' advantage, but makes you more effective overall.

Brevity is the soul of wit.

The UI looks and feels very dated, in my opinion.
