Lol if ppl take that as fact...they haven't been in this community long enough. It's always been a week before we can craft for savage the week after

I can see the mentality that the first tier is supposed to be easier so may not need as much prep but would still be nice if they adjusted things to match the change they made in EW.

That makes sense. Although I feel that collectively crafters around the world get this done so that you can buy them off the market board anyway.
In the worst case, the previous tier food/pots are there for the first hours, and they may not be the best but they're a decent boost still.
I still do not agree with your assessment that it is a "change". It has always been this way for the first tier. The adjustments before were to the second and third tiers specifically because they did not have a savage delay.
If you want these adjustments made to the first tier, that is a fine suggestion, but don't need to be rude about it.

You know... except for the last two raid cycles (6.2 and 6.4) where it wasn't precisely due to feedback from the community.
"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters."
"The silence is your answer."
I am wondering why the reverting back to this.
I mean I like crafting races as much as anyone else, but the reception behind having crafted out in advance was pretty well received from my recollection. I had a lot of friends that were joyous over the fact they had a chance to craft their own gear without sacrificing anything.

I agree. My group does alarm clock prog, so we'll have to commission crafters, or sacrifice lunch break to craft our own. It's what people have done in the past, and I don't begrudge crafter mains getting that bag, but it was so much less stressful with the .2 and .4 schedule. Not to mention I just prefer to be self sufficient.
We can only pray that this thread (and similar community outreach) gets enough attention that they can change this in time. It shouldn't be that hard to switch the crafter recipes to unlock at the same time as normal raids.

Heck, releasing the recipes the week in between normal and savage raids would be sufficient.
Really hoping they change this.
