I do care about the items. I fought very hard for them. Learned to play SCH just so i could get faster queues but it took a while till i actually got somewhere and boy did i get ROASTED in the beginning. I REALLY wanted this Set so i put in the work for it.
It took so much out of me that i paused the Game for 2 Weeks after i had a safe space at Top 100.
When i got the GM-Mail (They wrote them one by one back then with a copy paste message), i instantly glamed every single Set i had to this and have most of my Sets glamed with my Top 100 Rewards to this Day.

That is how much i like them.

So your attachmeant has more to do with the effort you put into it, and nothing to do with it's limited capacity? So then why not give people th3 chance to put in the same effort?

Or are you saying that anyone getting ultimate clears past the first patch it was released should have the titles and glams removed because it's not the same.

Should we start gatekeeping everything behind when it was released? It took me 2 years to get the high allagan casting earrings back in arr, and I've used them as a glam ever since. Should no one get to farm them unsynced because it took me that long to see them drop when at level?

That's kind of what your argument sounds like.


Also, the face changes are entirely subjective. I have no issues with how she looks in the benchmark.

I worked for those items because they look amazing AND are limited.

Also: even though i said it a few times now, you CAN NOT put in the same work as before. It is simply impossible because when those Rewards were available, PvP was a ENTIRELY different Game that required much more skill and nerve to put through.

I have no issue with timed exclusives. Was working on the Hellhound mount when that was announced as the next Top 100 Reward. Was already at high Plat when life hit me in the gut and nearly dying kept me chained to a hospital bed for a long time.
While i'm dissapointed that i could not earn them, i would never demand them to return and nullify the work they required and the value they have.

And you know what, nothing can be replicated, because someone else who got them cheated to get it. And another person got lucky with queues. No one else had the same experience you did. It's a bs excuse.

I'm all for bringing back the T100 exclusive items. Just because the items are brought back for others to earn doesn't invalidate the work and progress of those who had earned them at the time. It still happened and its the memories and experience that are cherished.

Let them be for ranked pvp with a different currency, as mentioned in a previous thread, or have people grind out crystal trophies to achieve them or slap a "replica" label at the end to differentiate the T100 stuff from the re-release version.

I didn't say your experience was BS, I said you reason for keeping them limited because no one can have the same experience is BS. There's a difference. And that difference is no one had the same experience you did.

I'm glad your experience makes them important to you. But not everyone who got them had the same experience you did while getting them.


The difference between us is that I want people to have the opportunity to have their own unique experiences getting said items, while you want to keep them locked away to preserve your experience.


If there was a way for people to play just 1.x for like, a year or so, and then get the tattoo on their current character afterwards, I'd be all for that. It would certainly make people appreciate what we have more. But that's not possible, for many reasons. No one would give up their current character for that long for a tattoo.
