The Wanderer's Palace (Hard), I believe. There is a gay couple in an ARR side quest, but I can’t remember which one. Maybe for an optional dungeon unlock? Or post moogle? I think it’s a Miqo’te and Hyur, who discuss people judging them for being interracial. Which honestly, even as lgbtq+ myself, I would rather see more interracial couples. I loved the Elezen and Hyur who had a baby at the Crystarium, F’lhaminn and her dead Elezen lover, and the Au Ra and Hyur couple from the EW ranged job quest. Oh, and the Lalafell and Hyur woman in the Fringes!
I also recall the only reason the couple wasn't approved of by the Miqo'te's community was because his partner is a Hyur.
Game has plenty of diversity, what you're looking for is an agenda-filled toxic representation of clout-chasing idols to make social media posts that bring... i can't even finish this.
I have an intense distaste for snowflakes that want "LGTB" representation as a vehicle for social clout rather than actually caring about it.
I love "please educate yourself" then links a opinion piece lmao

As a gay man, I understand how important representation is. However; ff14 is not built with romantic mechanics in game like BG3. And that is fine. There are examples of "gay" relationships in the game with NPCs and side quests, and there are a ton of examples where one could feasibly argue that there are multiple NPCS that flirt and have feelings for your WoL. The representation is there. There is such a thing as subtlety and nuance. We don't need to be hit in the face with it. Also with it being overt and in your face, it takes away from the relationships we as players choose to forge with specific NPCs. A lot of us have characters we like to see our WoL have feelings for, like in Shadowbringers or Endwalker, the cutscene in the inn where you decide who comes to your door at night. Leaving it vague allows for it to be more open to interpretation.
If you want your WoL to be lgbt+, thats great. But we as humans should not be defined by our sexuality or gender, that's what the whole purpose of the gay rights movement was about. About being viewed as a human and equal, not defined by our sexuality or gender and our WoL should be the same. Our WoL isn't overtly romanced by anyone, male or female or in between. So they aren't straight, gay, bi, ect by design, but by our own perspective. And by Yoshi P saying that the whole point of DT being diversity, it probably means we'll most likely see people of all walks of life and they aren't going to single anyone out.

I seriously hope that this forum post is bait and not serious...

Pretty sure in the past I've seen Gemina get so upset by some trans thread she said she was leaving the forums lol.I also think you shouldn’t. You are getting way too pressed over forums. Big red flags if you are like this irl to be around anyone. Also,Most people who call people bigots are actually the bigots.
Back on topic: sifting through everything I am glad there is more levelheaded people who dont want to just click checkboxes playing this game. Yes op is troll but hes not the only one who spouts this stuff.
But there is Romance everywhere in the game... like Y'shtola and Runar, Ryne and gaia.As a gay man, I understand how important representation is. They also have a system that is all about dating and romance, which is Custom Devileries. You even going on a date with Sir Aymeric XD
Golbez <3 Zero
May you always walk in Love
But why can I be Only the Single LGBT person in the Eorzea of entirety!?
Golbez <3 Zero
May you always walk in Love

Because he was Hyur specifically? So an Elezen would’ve been okay, for example? Either way it really makes sense in the context of this world since racism is kind of a big issue in some areas. *cough*Gridania*cough* I’ve never seen blatant homophobia (that I can remember) so if that came out of nowhere THEN I might feel slapped in the face.
AHHH and I completely forgot the Stormblood quest with the male actor the Eorzean guy thought was a woman and when he found out he wasn’t he was cool with it!
