I would love to see some “special” colors for our Chocobos added

this is giving me jewel/shiny/two-tone Chao flashbacks and I unironically love it. It would be great to have additional ways to customize their look and would be even more great if working out how to do it required everyone to put their heads together and puzzle it out.

Ah man, I LOVED those Chao gardens!! (Real talk; I totally think they should make a stand-alone game or app for that)

Anyways; I actually agree, I like the idea of it being a little more vague and tied to feeding them still. Maybe have it all *super* specific for certain variants, like being tied to the RL cycles of the moon or days of the week/month? I dig the idea of it being a bit of a puzzle!

I still find it a little funny they’re called “Company Chocobo” instead of just “Chocobo”, or even “Companion Chocobo”.

But either way, they’re obviously a stable, and they’ve been with us for so long, it would be nice to give them a little extra love.

Maybe unique chocobo colors could be ew rewards for Extremes? Or even take advantage of the breeding system in Gold Saucer and have those unlock special colors?

My thinking is just colors that add some minor particle effects. Or maybe a slight “transformation” of sorts, like a different style of beak or eyes (I’ve always been quite fond of the FF Tactics artwork).

But just getting a bright, golden color would be super dope, imo!
