I used to think that but I noticed a massive improvement at higher FPS. In the case of moving items, ping can be a factor.

They are planning to continue the variant/criterion dungeons.
If you have all your jobs leveled, that's not even four items per gear slot for each job. Their own armory page lists 12,041 pieces of amor, so 800 isn't even 7% of the total available to equip? Also, much of those 800 pieces wouldn't even be gear you'd actually want to equip as a combat classes. Much of it would be just general glamour stuff like chocobo heads, beach attire, wedding stuff, etc.

My FPS is quite high as I'm running on a 4070ti and my ping is around 30, so no issues there. I still notice the interface lag.

    Regarding the glamour dresser:

Your estimates of 4 item per gear slot per job is misleading when most gear is either cosmetic (can be equipped by any job) or role specific (can be equipped by up to 4 jobs depending on role).

Why do players need to be able to collect every single item? They're never going to use most of them, or only use them until something better comes along to replace them, at which point they can get rid of the previous item.

I'm familiar with WoW's transmogrification so I understand the convenience of the on-off flag. But there's also no need to keep the actual item as gear is quickly replaced on a character and there's no reason to equip lower level gear once you've got an upgrade. Here there is reason because we can do every job on every character. The glamour dresser is helpful storage for those still working on leveling old jobs. Changing to the flag toggle system means the players would have to farm a lot of that lower level gear over and over as it became needed for the next job because they would run out of room in inventory.

Better inventory management would solve most player problems. Don't keep something because you might want to use it in the future (unless it's something very rare and hard to get). Keep something because you will use it now or in the next couple of weeks. You can go back to farm the item later if you decide later that you are ready to use it.

WoW's glamour system(transmog) is better than FFxiv. Every game has its strengths. FFxiv glamour system is really good. However if it were possible I would prefer WoWs system where you can collect every piece of gear in game.

The whole point of my post on the Glamour system is that there really isn't a point in needing to retain the item in FFXIV either, other than the fact that the system design is incredibly poor. The argument of "better inventory management" (ie delete the item and then just spend additional time later and go refarm it again if you want to glamour it) is incredibly dismissive of the player bases' time.
