In ffxi Sanction is a beneficial status effect granted by guards in Aht Urhgan Whitegate and Al Zahbi. It allows for the gain of Imperial Standing and Crystals when fighting enemies that would normally grant experience points.

It also gives:

• Regen
• Refresh
• Increased Meal Duration

Plus exp bonus?

I think that you might be right... though I firmly believe that we don't need any more EXP bonuses.
