This is caused by the mouth scaling issue. I believe it even affects Krile as to me her lips look off as well.

The smudge has been restored! \o/ I wish her brows were as thick/dark as they used to be, but that's such a minor detail compared to her nose, I don't mind it. Thanks, devs!

So now lalas have a functioning christmas light nose?

This is the only thread I find discussing this particular issue and it's actually making me so sad. I find that the lip issue is particularly bad across all lalas, but mainly on darker skinned lalafells. You can see this change reflect during MSQ with Krile, where her top light is almost non-existent. I don't understand why this valid feedback was ignored. Maybe because the lalafell community wasn't up in an uproar like Au'ra were, who were graciously given limbal rings.

I genuinely think that this thread needs more feedback and people discussing the changes found on lalafells!

You can see below Krile's top lip is non-existent.


And even below, you can see how two different colored lip colors look super different on the same lalafell:

Again, these are ZOOMED IN so zoomed out, it was a visceral recoil from seeing my lala ingame.

I'd also like to touch briefly on the nose as well. The new lala nose is angular, almost serpent like? I can't really find the word to describe it but lalas used to have extremely soft, round features... Now they're intense, sharp and the general vibe is off:




I can't help but wonder if they took their time with lalafells and/or took their time with darker toned lalafells. I should briefly mention I also do not like the weird grey eyeliner they added as well. It used to be a deeper, true black than it is now. It's an overlay now that I think is NOT flattering on darker skin tones. I'm honestly more upset than I should be (lol, oh well!) but I find that the transition from the old lala look to the new COMPLETELY changed the entirety of the lalafell face! And I'm only comparing MY lala. Of course, this MIGHT be nit picking but I just think it's really too much of a difference.
