Any images/video on split dying?

Is there any information on the dying system coming in 26 days? Like I need to find out if I can if it will have a part system, For example is it just going to randomly dye a tiny part of a skirt purple over black, or will we get some controll for example assign a part by letters


I want to be able to do things like this with it, and im trying to find out how I can do this before I start creating my new set of a boo crew (oc monster high characters)

well i guess I can still make it work for my goals just will be more complex/picky about things

There is an excample of this on the dawntrail website, I am wondering with it if I can dye both parts with a single pot or am I now going to have to stock double the ammount

i see that, but can't really tell much with it on just a single item. *shrug* But i guess ill find out the hard way, I'm sure i can work with it regardless I would prefer an actual visual of what it looks like in the dying menu

I recall them saying it would be the two largest parts of items. In the example they give its the corset and cape, and then the shirt, which are both very large areas. I wouldn't expect to be able to dye tiny little details unless that's the only part left that doesn't dye currently. But we really wont know for sure until the 28th. And even then, I don't think they will have every item updated, it will mostly be NEW items, and SOME backdated items (likely starting with Mogstation, Raid gear, special reward gear maybe, and then moving on to crafted items, and eventually dungeon and msq drops starting backwards from EW? Items that you can't even get anymore would probably be last if they ever even do get updated, depending on how old they are.)

SE hasn't said much when it comes to the two channel dyEing but as always dont have high hopes, keep them low , that way you'll be less disappointed(which probably will) when the whole thing hits also from my understanding is gonna be selected old pieces and several new ones from the upcoming expansion.

i mean that was just an example and beside that couldnt i just do it with neo-ishgarden gear on healer and tank lol
