"Media literacy" is a tool supposedly taught to school children to help them decide whether something in media [TV/newspapers/online/etc] is credible.
It's confusing when used as a replacement for Narrative Structure or Tropes, hence the questioning posts.
No. Imagine how awful that would be onscreen. Plus he could have a tons of beautiful bunny women why would he settle for that?

Sounds like Alphinaud right around patch 2.3This thread is bait, but it gives me a opportunity to say I don't think I've ever hated a character faster then Wuk Lamat.
Compulsive, cocky, and act's like a child that's too cool for school. Perhaps in DT she'll be fleshed out and grow as a character, but as she is right now she's so awfulm
So, Alisaie 2.0?This thread is bait, but it gives me a opportunity to say I don't think I've ever hated a character faster then Wuk Lamat.

They made me laugh heartily out loud, and I'm happily and stably coupled to a gentle soul.Whatever argument you were trying to make falls apart with that statement.
Furthermore, OP sounds like they have an easier time dating compared to your bitter statements; one of which calls for "drowning them at birth." Those types of statements are usually said by bitter non-dating people like Magnai; the edgy types.

Yes, that's why I say that perhaps she'll be fleshed out, but I rather should've said she WILL be fleshed out so I could've avoided the replies.
Alphinaud went from being wet behind the ears, not thinking before he acts and being extremely short sighted, to being patient and understanding, always willing to hear people out. What's especially great about Alphinaud is that he's shown not to be perfect even though he tries to do everything right, and despite all he's learned he can still be gung ho and cause avoidable tragedies. Remember back in Garlemald when we're helping the Garleans, and because we're the "enemy" it causes a woman and child to die because they don't want to accept our help? Instead of easing in, he charged in, even though he's grown and evolved it's shown to us in game that he's still very much capable of making mistakes.
Thancred went from being a sly womanizer to caring deeply for Minfillia and Ryne. Sure he's a bit flat nowadays but he did grow.
And Zero is fresh in my mind as I just finished EW. When we first see her, she's so defeated she's forgotten her original name, and just takes the first one, iirc, Estinien gives her. From there, she act's not as a comrade, but as a cold and distant mercenary who's paid in Aether. But as we complete the MSQ, we see her slowly grow more and more human, when she speaks with those in Garlemald it causes her to go out of her way to protect innocents for the sake of it, course she doesn't say it at first, but we can tell she's evolving. Then as the MSQ goes on, she finally starts to treat those around her as friends thanks to them treating her well, and it all culminates with her absorbing the firsts light and using it to banish her dark and working towards fixing the 13th with Golbez.
So, why am I posting in related character info in a bait thread about another character?
I'm posting this because it's been shown characters evolve in this game, not all of them do mind, and there's a very real possibility Wuk Lamat could end up just as bad in the end.
To summarize, there is a very real possibility of her growing as a character, pretty much guaranteed, but know it's not 100%
Thanks for coming to my TED talk, next time it'll be on why you shouldn't write a paragraph reply on a bait thread at 3 in the morning :/
