Just make sure you actually know all the fights needed to unlock it and you didn't shortcut unsync them or else you will get mentorlol'd

Never seen that happen. Sometimes mentors don't know the fight, so I or another mentor just teach it and we clear. After all, mentors usually know how fights in this game work so you can just say "it's like this mech in this recent fight" and they get it instantly.

I wear the crown for its intended purpose and have never received negative comments.

Me either except like 3 times around the time that derogatory mentor video got posted on youtube.
