It was the Luncheon Toadskins, I only needed 120 and literally had to kill 50 toads to get the 5, they either need to buff the drop rates of things like hides and skins or make a class that can gather them from corpses because this is ridiculous.

I'm sorry I just had to rant because it was getting rather ridiculousm, now to go farm almasty furr, wish me luck.

Yea, farming mats off mobs is probably the worst part of crafting/gathering. Especially when the mob you are farming drops multiple types of items and seems to drop that stuff at much higher rates than the skins (here's looking at you dhalmels and dragons in Heavensward lands).

At least we don't have to deal with hq mats anymore. I still remember trying to get those, and sometimes had hundreds of the regular items before one would drop.

I've got a rather large shopping list of things to gather and tbh I look forward to mining and landscaping because im guarantted reward for my time where as hides/furrs/slimes are just an absolute slog of a farm, im dancing at glee at farming 2000 Bismuth ore as that'll be chill.
