I've come around on this, maybe the summoner dev hates it just as much as I do. Perhaps there'll be more stuff later when its slide is shown, but so far it really looks like there isn't any meaningful change since ewSMN.
I expected very little, and yet I am still somehow disappointed.
I miss when SMN was a fun job.

I heard the SMN raise became on a 40s cd is that really true....

No it's just swiftcast

As a SMN main, I'm happy about the current system because of the button bloat pains. I'm hoping that they add the old summons to the rotation system though. I honestly thought Solar Bahamut in the Job Trailer was telling us more Egi Glamours were happening.
Bahamut > Ifrit/Titan/Garuda > Pheonix > Ramuh/Levi/Shiva > Solar Bahamut
I just want them to let me keep Resurrection!!! The dopamine rush from rezzing a fellow DPS or even Tanks and Healers who are dead.

Youtube lets you have playback. They talked about removing it, but they are keeping rez for DT and 7.x patches. They are already working on 8.0 and the chatter of whether to keep it or not is floating around for later expansions.

Well, I stand corrected. Maybe they didn't have a planned roadmap, and I guess they thought what I felt like half a job really was their entire vision.
Ashphen, you'll note that the trailer begins with Phoenix, so if Ramuh et al are showing up, it ain't happening after Phoenix.

I've really got to say that I'm extremely disappointed that we just get another Bahamut. I'd rather the new one just replace Bahamut and we can choose the glamour for it. I know we'll never get Shiva/Ramuh/Levi as Primals for something akin to an Astral/Umbral phase; but man is Summoner so boring to play. And unfortunately, I can't see that changing going into Dawntrail if we just get another Bahamut phase to deal with, but the same 3 primals to use in between our Demi phases.
I'm glad Picto looks cool, at least.
