Blacklist: How do I know if I'm blacklisted by someone else?

I feel like there needs to be something in place to inform me that I can't send a message to recipient because I am blacklisted. That way I don't waste time trying to contact them.
But I'll take the cold shoulder / non response as a good reason to stop attempting communication. In my case it was a former FC member I wasn't sure if they wanted to remain on friend's list or not.

they could be afk. they could have chat off. they could be not responding. just try and trade them and then you will know. also if they were on your friendlist, check if you can tp to there estate. if you cant they've removed you
