Square , you've been giving out excuses on this matter for a decade now. Step up and attemp this, even if its just text/UI and delivered in small patches/expansions.

Theres a big loyal Spanish speaking Final Fantasy fanbase that deserves better than this.

Not everything in life needs to be immediate profit. Todays happy fans will be tomorrows loyal customers. FFXIV is the perfect product for this. You can't speak for "the next decade" like you've been doing recently while ignoring this issue.

I totally support an Spanish translation! I don't mind playing the game in English, but a lot of my friends that are big FF fans can't play the game because of the language barrier.

And given that S-E has experience with localizing diverse Spanish accents in their Dragon Quest games, I think they could make it work with both Spain Spanish and Latin American Spanish for different regions or characters.

I don't speak Spanish, but my fiancee was born in Mexico and I think she'd be able to appreciate the story more in her native language.
