I was just curious. It just crossed my mind when I kept encountering them. SE seems to be pretty strict with a lot of things that other games allow.
I see, but it doesn't make sense, since it's not like older MMORPGs where kill stealing was a common thing. Even if you whack one mob and get a bronze rating, it still counts towards the Yokai event. Guild Wars 2 has also those open world events (basically fates), the difference is that your level is scaled down to the map rather than the event. In fairness, I think SE should implement auto-sync for higher level players the moment they enter the fate.

Last event, I made a special macro which dismounts me, turns on level sync, and casts an AOE. Replace Unleash with whatever AOE instant-cast ability you have:
/mount <wait.1>
/levelsync on
/ac Unleash
This helps a ton with getting a tag in before the FATE is over. Modify as needed.
Is this a serious comment? Actually asking, not trolling since I havent heard this before. What exactly do they do that is strict?
I personally think they turn a blind eye to a lot that goes on in this game outside of the development side of things.
