I'm not saying it's *THEIR* fault or that the devs even saw their request [I disagreed at the time because I thought the gap was a charm point] but it was an issue I saw barely anyone complaining about and now I'm seeing a lot more people complaining that they want it back. Hopefully the devs listen.

    the thick black eyelashes need to be a option on facial features
    the new nose option 4 need to be a new nose option
    the mouth gap can be a option too (i really miss this)

    this way both people that like and dislike the new look will be happy, and is a simple thing to do.

    Did someone mention the protruding nostrils and the really off-putting mouth rig? Obviously someone will fix this with [redacted], but I thought the whole point was to make those tools obsolete.

    I recall reading that they’re importing a lot of the animation tech from like XVI to this game. I think there’s gonna be some growing pains. I’m confident they’ll improve that aspect though at least.

    I reworded and reorganized the OP to try hard to communicate better as well as head off any of the more common responses like "different lighting in photos", "try the gamma slider" and "look at the other CC options to see if features got shifted." I would have liked to have gotten it right on the first try but it was still all too raw when I started the thread. I let how sad I am flavour it too much. A few days to collect myself was needed so I could be a bit more objective.

    Eh, I really disliked that mouth gap. So did a few others. One of the reasons that face was a no go for me at least.

    I will love if they improve the basic animations of the characters, i see how the animations are on 1.0 and is so much better, the characters actually have a animation when they stop running, moving to the sides and everything else.

    I booted up the benchmark and the game earlier inspired abit by JP's really thorough feedback breakdowns and I've noticed certain things that threw me off, I can see it on your character now that I can see it clearly on mine but it's not so visible on your demonstration because of the dim lighting. Here's a sample but I'm too tired right now I spent all night looking at the forums but no one voiced concerns about the faded nose smudge or even the new nose shape or lip shape. I've only seen complaints about the eyelashes. I think our face and its charm is kinda more of a rarity over there.

    I'll be updating this post with some stuff... I tried to keep the character in place as much as possible though there was an unfortunate light glare in one of the pictures I might upload later. Took so long just to get identical shots and it doesn't help characters are constantly breathing ahaha

    Observations regarding [ Jaw Type 4. ]
    = It seems the jawline got more rounder and softer losing its shape
    = Eyes seem significantly larger in size?
    = Alot of the facial features have been moved downwards (I don't mind this too much)

    But I do miss the sharper/more defined jawline. I feel like alot of faces are cute and chubby and round. I feel like another unique thing is gone?

    I can accept most of these changes for what they are. But the massive increase in eyelashes is... way too much. Please make them optional, or bring them back to pre-update levels.

    Edit: Oh, and the fangs. They're too short now. Please make them more akin to what they were pre-update.

    My girl doesn’t look that different to me, so I like the changes. Kind of miss the glossiness of her lips but that’s all really. And of course we need our fangs back, they’re barely fangs anymore. A mooncat is not a mooncat without pointy fangs!
