Will tail still clipping to all skirt?

Yep.
All the 7.0's artifact armor has tail clipping galore. (´-ι_-｀)

Hopefully they tone down the cape fetish at least... Those things causes advanced clipping D:

We'll see but based on the artifact gear and past experience, I doubt it.
Hell, a lot of the artifact gear have sashes, belts, skirts/half-skirts, coat tails, and/or objects clipping through tails. Pictomancers with tails are going to have a dagger running through them. (◍´͈ꈊ`͈◍)

Capes are the primary reason I swapped from miqo'te to viera
I wasn't a big fan of how they're done in the first place (being sneaky skirts)
But the fact they either just have an implied tail hole in a garment meant to be very mobile and flowy, or, gods forbid, delete literally half your character's SPINE is just a dealbreaker for me >.<

wish they would at least compromise and give us half capes on the races with tails. :T

Best compromise would be variants or toggles for armor. With and without capes and or other major doodads like oversized floating shoulders.
