Viera Changes

does anyone have any faith that Square will actually acknowledge this or do people worry we are just yelling into the void? :c

If it were just Viera? Then yes.. There could be a possibility of it being an acceptable allowance of unhappy players.

However, reading the forums it seems that while yes, there are players that have seen an improvement. There are lot who haven't. If the changes were just lighting and shaders etc it would be fine but they've changed models, be it the nose, eyes and even the fangs on the Catgirls/Catboys.

As of now I'm taking these changes as a solid second draft; something to be worked on. The dev team have and always will want to make a game the we love. There's enough healthy feedback from players to help them move things in the right direction. That being said, doing I expect DT to be delayed? No. But I'd love an acknowledgement or an update on what the plan is for this moving forward.

For my alt I chose face 3 for its cuteness. Now, the corners of her mouth are straight, giving her a sad, stern look.
I hope we'll have an option to make the lips fuller and glossy again.

It's nice that the way the light enters the eyes has become realistic, but I agree with others that the Viera look lifeless, especially those with light eyes.

I also agree with most of you that the update has changed some key facial features, which changes the mood and overall look of the character.
She could be her own (little) sister with this reshaping, but she's not the same bunny in my eyes.

Yeah I dont think theyd have to overhaul it to a point where it would delay DT but Id be okay with if the graphical update came at a later patch but since Im not a dev I dont know how possible that is based on how they built DT and if its pretty much natively developed with this new design. either way, i dont know if Im excited for the xpac cause of it and that makes me sad since i was so very hype
