I don't want to transfer, so WHY are you forcing me to?

I have a friend who was hospitalized and could not made it to the server merger choose. S-E support answer was that the only solution is for him to create a new character on the same server where we are. Just now players who choose wrongly are being relocated and I can't undestard why.
Please give me a convincing answer.

SE is not wrong in not giving you an exception
they arent, and i hate to say it, but its something you will have to live with

arrangements could have easily been made in order to accomidate the friend during the transfer period


better luck when they add paid transfers

I'm sorry to hear this, but complaining here and blaming SE when it wasn't anyone's fault it's not going to get a solution to this problem. I don't think any company will give you the reason if you don't have some kind of solid evidence. You try calling costumer service for a real solution? Back in FF11 they loved to ask for notarized declarations and medical certificates.

Trust me I can sympathize, however SE wasn't at fault. At all. They even stated you had to do nothing and you would be auto-defaulted to the merged servers, if your friend or whomever couldn't read this, the one doing it for him/her should have read that and there would have been no problems.

I don't need to imagine being hospitalized myself, I've gone through being hospitalized and was bedridden for over two years because of colon cancer.

Maybe you should blame yourself and these other "friends" of your "friend" for either not offering to sign into his account for him or not being trustworthy enough that this "friend" of yours whom was hospitalized didn't ask for your help.

either way, the way i see it, you guys transfered, knowing he was not going to be able to, and YOU left him behind, he didnt get left behind by some chance

if he was your friend, you woulda made sure he was able to go with you, or none of you would have transfered knowing he wasnt going to be able to either

stop trying to pin your mistakes, and your lack of actualy thinking about his situation or caring about it until after the fact on others

Which isn't hard to overcome if you really are friends, also if he uses a sercurity token your account never gets locked because of this, I have logged in on many different networks and have never been locked, this is another easy thing to overcome if you were friends.
