I'm still trying to land on a look I'm totally happy with so nothing to post yet. Face two and three are the front runners though I think. Face three could really use an eyebrow marking toggle.

I will say restricting hairstyles to certain faces was a huge mistake IMO. Didn't male Hrothgar have that same issue that they fixed later?

Male Hrothgar have this issue still, it wasn't fixed. We still don't get all base hairstyles. I was hoping with them reworking all sorts of things anyway, they'd create Hrothgal haircuts properly, in a way all base haircuts fit all heads, and adjust Hrothguys accordingly. Sadly they went the other way around and made Hrothgal hair just as limited as that of their male counterparts.

Where are you seeing the emotes?

In the bottom of the character creator you have pose options "standard" and "unique". "Unique" is a loop of various Hrothgal emotes, including the dance.

Edit: Meanwhile I tried to imitate the Torama coeurls, at least in the basics, with some artistic liberties for the eye colour. I like it, but I am not sure people would look at it and think "Ah, a Torama coeurl". They are just too different. (Especially the lack of the lizard tail... xD )

They actually didn't, male Hroth racial hairstyles are still face locked, even in the benchmark.

Speaking of hairstyles, I can only assume it's because they're still in development, but it is odd that Hrothgals could only chose their racial hairstyles, when at this point male Hroths and Viera have like 15 or so universal hairstyles unlocked.

It'll happen when they finally start making hats for Viera and Hrothgar. So never. Most we're going to get is all the all-race hairstyles they've added over the years for Viera and Hrothgar, but I can see them only doing that a little bit at a time to give the illusion of progress.

Really annoyed they locked hairstyles to faces but nevertheless I am happy to have got to make my fem hroth and I think I will fanta off my bun for a while to enjoy it before I make an alt hroth and go back to my usual bunny self.

Face 2 and 3 are best to me but I really wish I could have access to all the hair... and there is no way they did not see that complaint coming when they did this either!

Really hoping they fix Helions face 3's "eyebrows" cuz it's really jarring for darker skin tones and/or hair color that isn't a variant of blonde.

So far, I liked just about all of them. However, voice 9 is my favorite. The angry hiss is great as well as the rest of the emote voice clips.
I do wish 9's combat attacks had a bit more impact. However, it doesn't mean I think it's bad. As long as the clips are something I could listen to for long battles I'm golden.

I'm an enjoyer of 7 8 and 9. All 3 of those REALLY sold their performances!
