Little boy: "I see dead people. There's everywhere. And they don't even know they're dead."
FFXIV player: "Nah, those aren't dead people, those are people on my block list."
Little boy: "Oh. Then they might as well be dead, right?"
If you did enough for me to remove your character model from my game. I don't really care much about what happens to you one way or another.

Only thing that concerns me is duty related stuff now. Would prefer to not interact at all with anyone who's on my blacklist under any circumstance (especially if cross-DC queues ever become a thing since I'm actively avoiding an ex-abuser on another DC) and I still think that's a reasonable request to be made.
Wiping their name doesn't really help fully because it'll be obvious who they are (if you're like me and only have 3 or less names on your blacklist lol).
Otherwise, it's a step in the right direction.

Really happy about this. Had to deal with stalking for almost 2 years in the past. This will make it so much easier to escape should something like this happen again!
ᛞᚨᚢᛃᛁᚦ ᚠᛖᚺᚢ
ᛞᚨᚢᛃᚨᚾ ᚠᚱᚨᚾᛞᛁᛊ : ᛞᚨᚢᛃᛁᚦ ᛊᛖᛚᛒᚨᛉ ᛊᚨᛗᛟ
ᛖᚲᚨ ᚹᚨᛁᛏ ᚨᚾᚨᛁᚾᛟ
ᚦᚨᛏᚨ ᚾᛖ ᚨᛚᛞᚱᚨᛁᚷᛁᚾ ᛞᚨᚢᛃᛁᚦ
ᛞᛟᛗᚨᛉ ᚢᛗᛒᛁ ᛞᚨᚢᛞᚨᚾᛟ ᚺᚹᚨᚱᛃᚨᚾᛟ
Would anyone be able to point me to a video where they explain exactly how these will be implemented?
The blacklist thing is neat but the housing block thing is going to be highly abused by some. I'm going to say some in the venue community as I know some places will ban if you even annoy a manager or owner.
It's a good feature but this will be highly abused.

It's excellent news. I'm surprised player expulsion from estates didn't exist in the first place. Huge W for FFXIV.
The Legends of the Titanmen lives on, a shining example of the power of compassion and the ability of people to make a difference in the world. A reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope, as long as there are heroes like the Titanmen who dare to do good deeds in Eorzea.

Yeah, it will increase some pettiness in differing regions.
(Can only imagine CN with how their Housing Culture is.., OH yeah.., just remember. They really get Housing Scarcity Seriously)
But at that point, it'll really just enhance the need for better Housing set Ups.
Maybe in a future FFMMO, they can actually making Neighborhoods work with Server Meshing. So everyone can get a house of their dreams.
But, yeah, while there will always be those ostracized cause of minor or major difference in position. be it qol for the game, or outside topics, or desires. There will always be some who want to harm you.
But contrary to what some say about content.
It doesn't stop you from doing Content.
At the very least for now(if the balance or feedback doesn't push players to be outed for good or bad reasons.)

So what I did wrong was "being a woman on the internet", I guess. Weird creeps are everywhere and they will target you no matter what you do or don't do.
