Nerf gil profit from submarine

I thought about that too, giving apartments a workshop or having it at the other door at Grand Companies, instead of having it tied to housing.

I think plots that are not decorated look worse over time than empty plots, which would be open to invite friends to. We can compare housing at next addon again, now it is a bit dead.

to 3: Yes I think making millions every week for waiting around is a bit much. What is there for gameplay? Do I get to be a pirate that sets foot into a submarine and steers it into the depth to collect and salvage some hidden treasures? No, it is 2 button clicks and a cutscene that gets autoskipped, and $$$$ voila you have gil. That sounds pretty boring to me and not very engaging. I want to play a game to earn gil, PvE orientated especially, as I mentioned, not clicking through some menus with numbers and a whole real time day delay tied to it.

How self important are you to legitimately admit, just because it's seems boring and not engaging to you, it should be reduced for other players?

It does not matter if you think undecorated houses are worse than empty plots. Your subjective opinion is not the end all, be all of this game.


There are a lot of reasons for players to be jealous over salvage and the effort it takes to get there.

But this post isn't even an attempt at good feedback for SE to fix it.

There is literally good feedback in my post, the same one you liked 2 posts above me. Even though, I admit, I only had time to read it after I posted my previous message. Why so angry ?

The workhop should be available at the GC or somewhere for every FC.

It takes 4 months to level submarines for it to become profitable.
It's deserving.
Workshop problem =/= housing problem.
Let the legit FCs keep their gil.

It’s a massive undertaking to do it by yourself.

As the only person who workshop crafts in my FC, aka when we need airship/submarine build or updated of new wall for the house, of tier 3 buff cylinders, I can't but attest this.
Thanks SE for opening the damn thing so that you don't have to beg and plead 3 more people to come sit around awkwardly while you wish your inventory is not missing something silly. "...i'm sorry guys, i'll gotta run to buy 3 more Scintillant Ingots, just stay where you are please, I'll be back right away!!"

Make hard PvE content that gives gil and has monster itemdrops maybe. Stop catering to solo players, this is a MMORPG.

So, not by working and planning, but by luck, you must make some money? I was lucky and got 2 coffin lids back in the day when Void Ark was brandspanking new and those things sold 10mil a pop. 20mil extra gil sure made relatively new player happy, but I wouldn't want RNG to be my main money maker.
SE needs to set up effctive MB taxing to rein in that inflation, maybe interesting new money sink if it has gone out of hand.
New 50mil mounts, anyone? :'D 100mil mount?

Yes, by RNG/luck. That is how rare items get to exist, something this game is sorely lacking. You kill mobs in the open world, no rare loot, not even crafting materials most of the time. You kill mobs in dungeons, nothing. You kill bosses, most of the time nothing. The only close thing is PotD hoards maybe. I think making new mounts for 50million gil or something is extremely boring again, you buy it and you have nothing else to do gameplay wise. Feels underwhelming to me.

I think submarines should be more about free companies and less about sublords, how people call them now lol. So I would get behind that proposal that fuel should be tied to the free company and not being traded to lvl 1 alts that own everything by themselves. Then there is less incentive to do it at least.
