Why are things be so expensive now? I used to be able to buy a pot or two. Now... No Way! Things are now double the money. I can't buy gear for my class either because they are now TRIPLE the money. I don't get why people selling things on the market board need to put the price very high. It's not actual money, it's virtual money on the MMO... Why do you greed the money on the MMO so much? It makes people who can't craft or don't want to craft have to pay so much money to buy even basic basic gear. Why not put the price lower so more people can buy? Think of it as compassion, and don't be so greedy.

There is no supply chain "issue" lol... The same gear is still make with the same four ingots, one leather, one alka, it doesn't change

If you think this is bad just wait til early in an expansion. These prices are more than reasonable just using retainers I've made ~5m in the past week or so... and netted 3.5M. Had to make up for my small house purchase XD. But the simple answer is you don't want to craft as you said. Very few people want to spend time gathering or crafting. They do it to make gil. So they are going to make as much as possible. It's not fun making an endless number of items to sell... or mining 100's or even 1000's of ore knowing some bot may still flood the market (rip High Durium Sand on my server. Had 2,000 all mined myself. Price crashed by 80%.)

I set my price at 80%, because I don't want to be so greedy and contribute to the problem, but I can't make EVERYTHING I need or it would take days XD

Because then someone else will buy it at the 80 and resale it for 100. Wouldn't be the first time people have bought up items on "discount" and resell them.

I want the money to move to a Medium house. I don't want to take a 20% decrease. More than that- profit margins are oft not that thick. A 20% discount s more than a 20% decrease in profit.

Just craft the pots and gear yourself? Either pay in gil for the effort other players put into making those things, or put the effort in yourself.

Isn't this a result of tomes being used for the manderville weapons instead of dumping them on crafting mats like in previous expansions?
