So, to be clear, you have 3 different accounts that you got 3 personal larges on? Since you can't have more than one private on any server on any one account. This is inaccurate, there are thousands of open plots right now. Wards 25-30 being closed have nothing to do with.
Simply go look. There are even tools you can google for easier access to this info.
I literally just got 3 personal larges last round, they were completely uncontested and had been sitting for over a year and that's just on one server.
Out of curiosity, since you can't resell them or have submarines, what's the point? I can understand the logic behind people who multi-own FCs since you can gil farm but I don't get the logic with private houses unless this is just a flex thing.

Its one Private per Server. So you can have at least 81 Privates (28 NA, 32 JP, 16 EU, 5 OCE) per Account. Including FCs you can add additionally 160 (limited by 40 Characters per Region) Houses on top.
I'd also avoid Halicarnassus; its a house reseller hotspot atm it seems.I'll add if you want to stay in NA, avoid Seraph for housing. It's far more populated than the other 3 Dynamis worlds. You should see no difference in ping on Dynamis as all NA logical data centers are at the same physical location.
You may want to use data center travel to visit Dynamis to see exactly what is currently available. The ward designations for the Dynamis and Materia worlds remain different from the other worlds.
Wards 1-9 are FC only.
Wards 10-24 are personal only.
Wards 25-30 are not open for purchase.
That's not going to fix it, supply isn't matching demand. You have DC visitation, if you really want housing that bad you'll transfer to a DC that has available housing.
The ball is in S.E court and they know the limited supply is a boon for them, given the demo timer and scarcity of housing will keep some people perma subscribed.
If they quit over not getting a house, given all the other content, that's just churn, and leaving just means they certain assured they won't see a house now. But who's gonna be upset? That's 1 less person to compete with for buying a house.
Correct.
The person I responded to said they acquired 3 large privates on one server (not DC, unless that's just poor phrasing on their end), therefore they must have 3 different accounts to make that possible unless they've found some magical loophole no one else in the housing community knows about yet.
Since you asked, I pay for 9 separate service accounts and it's simple:So, to be clear, you have 3 different accounts that you got 3 personal larges on? Since you can't have more than one private on any server on any one account.

I enjoy housing. It is my main content, it's sincerely the height of hubris for people to think some of us give a F about them and have these houses to flex to strangers on the internet.
Nope, I've got an empire of well decorated, well used immersive homes that me and my friends can and have enjoyed for over 8 years now.
I noticed a year ago that Bismarck was lacking and decided if they still had it open in a year I would expand there. Now I've got a set of new themed experiences to enjoy with my loved ones and FC mates.
As a note to the salt lords that will be reading this: Housing is fun and amazing and if you guys that are apparently "dying" to get a house refuse to do what that actually takes and get one on these unfilled worlds, then don't be mad at those of us who love housing enough to do it.
As an owner of two accounts (as is my spouse) I applaud your insight:Additional subscriptions to FFXIV costs less than a movie ticket and can provide many more hours of enjoyment than going to a movie.A lot of the inconveniences in the game, especially related to alts, are substantially mitigated by having even just one additional account. And some activities, such as crafting and gathering, can be done literally twice as fast when you have a second account (and a second real or virtual machine to run it on simultaneously with your other account).
Why just the other day, my spouse and I piled into one of our recently-acquired Regailias and went gathering Indigator and Diadocos mats. It was fun, cruising across Eorzea in the 4-seater convertible, listening to the Regalia's blues music, and getting a ton of mats!
We also own a few houses: it's one reason we transferred to Dynamis.
All that said, with 6 characters currently progressed to End-of-Content, and more on the journey, I may play this game a bit more than most people.![]()
Lol, we are absolutely not the norm but its lovely to run into another that GETS IT. I also really enjoy your quote about the additional subscription cost because that was exactly our logic when budgeting in these costs to our annual plan.As an owner of two accounts (as is my spouse) I applaud your insight:Additional subscriptions to FFXIV costs less than a movie ticket and can provide many more hours of enjoyment than going to a movie.A lot of the inconveniences in the game, especially related to alts, are substantially mitigated by having even just one additional account. I tend to play the same way with my partner. It's a good life. Congrats on your Dynamis homes and I hope you have a lovely time in Dawntrail!
I have to add my support to this statement. Most of the newer multiple house owners are getting there by purchasing plots on the worlds where they are commonly available. They're not trying to fight for the very limited number of houses available on the congested worlds that have high demand. They're helping to fill what would be otherwise mostly empty wards. As a note to the salt lords that will be reading this: Housing is fun and amazing and if you guys that are apparently "dying" to get a house refuse to do what that actually takes and get one on these unfilled worlds, then don't be mad at those of us who love housing enough to do it.
Some of the older multiple house owners did the same at a time when now congested worlds were not congested.
"But times have changed so SE should take away what they fairly earned under the rules at the time of their purchases so I can have my turn" I'm sure some are thinking.
Why should those players have to undergo change by having what they earned taken from them when you are not willing to change yourself? There are plots available yet despite statements that you want a house badly, you're not willing to make the change needed to get one.
Your loss. Multiple house owner gain.
I'd still rather see SE update the system so we can all be multiple house owners without having to compete over limited supply. But unless that happens, more plots will continue to get purchased by those who are willing to change to get them.
Stop complaining about those who were willing to do what was needed to get what they wanted. Stop trying to take things away from them when you have the same opportunity they did but you are unwilling to change to take advantage of it.
