Sucks it has to be that way, if true. Though we might be getting something similar to what we have always asked. I still have faith. If we end up getting Puppet Master, we're more likely going to see the "forever Pikachu" pet with them instead of Beast Master having a "forever pikachu". While we may get a starter, it's likely to be a job that focuses on utilizing different pet's abilities while you do your own thing alongside them GCD and OGCD. But we'll see.
Squenix needed to include a new pet oriented job with likely all of its jank after they butchered summoner and carbuncle, so it being limited is not just to sort out the pet jank, but also to keep the job away from the parse brains that are too busy worshipping their magical abacus primal. But I look forward to seeing how the job will turn out.
Question:
Is it allready stated, that it will be a class, where you tames differently beast?
After seeing Vincent again in f7 rebirth, came the idea, what if, it is a class, where you yourself transform into differently beast? Similary to the move from the reaper and Vincent.

If I remember right, they said they'd talk about it later and that it would be coming in a later 7.X patch. It being a job where you morph into creatures would not specifically be for Beast Master. It'd be better off serving as a mechanic in a non-limited job. We've already had one job that , initially one of 2 pet oriented jobs, was stripped of its pet system for the sake of some that had this romanticized version of flashy one and done attacks; and now everyone has to eat the bowl of mush that was left because of it. Beast Master should be the job that brings back the pet mechanics.Question:

A problem solved if the jobs could reach current max level and do eureka/bozja or palace of the dead etc. Would give them alot more content to doAh yes, a solo job that won't actually be able to solo anything of value because limited job 'end game' is outdated 8-man raids. They made the same spiel about Blue Mage being a 'solo' job and that ended up being a farce so I have no idea why anyone thinks this is going to be different. Wow you can maybe solo an ancient dungeon if they actually remember to make a Basic Instinct analogue for giggles. Cool, now get back into PF and look for those raid clears you need for any kind of reward.
Even so, the limited job still kicks in and you cannot still bring it to content that matter. It's like playing a game where it's a paid trial version.
Let's say a player decided not to participate in any end-game content for whatever reason. The fact of the matter is that the option is there but they consciously declined. Now compare that with someone wanting to do said end-game content but the job they wanted to play as is hard gated. While both pay the exact same sub, one is still able to play the job they want and still offered the option to experience the entirety of the game vs someone who really likes to play a job but is not allowed to because reasons.
That's why the entire limited job system is flawed to the core, for me.

- Seraphism is BAD.
- Give us back Shadowflare and make Deployment/Emergency Tactics affect Biolysis
- Give us back Rouse
- Make pet management rewarding.

Technically worse than that. As even trial players can access stuff like deep dungeon or eureka, let alone being able to do raids or dungeons or trials.

I say the entire Limited Job Thing is just a waste, imo they should try and break away from the DoW=Tank&Melee&Ranged DoM= Healer&MagicDPS stuff and give us something new like Mage Tank for example, who could utilize Magic by learning from the Monster they encounter (Yes! Blue Mage should be a Tank imo!!!) or a DoW Healer with a Sniper Rifle, like Ana from Overwatch or Sharla from Xenoblade1 but back to the Topic:
Beastmaster should be a Ranged DPS Pet Job, not a Limited Job!
Can it be a tank job where your character is still tanking but it is calling in pets to deal damage for you.

Im personally excited for the Beastmaster. Its actually making me want to give limited jobs a second chance. Plus I believe they said they were developing more content for limited jobs only. Also, if they continue creating more Limited, it opens up an entire secondary game within 14. It gives the devs the opportunity to do or try things that wouldn't necessarily work in the standard jobs/parties and gives more flexibility to players with expanded content that doesn't fit into the msq storyline. I think the main problem with limited jobs, is they only released blu and its been around for awhile, so it felt kinda stagnant and narrow. Adding more gives more options to play with and gives those of us who have gone through and leveled everything else, capped tribal quests, etc something else to do. Its optional, if we dont like them, its not necessary to play them.

I hope beastmaster is an amazing job I hope it's great considering how badly us blue mages got bent over with the last update. I hope normal jobs look at it in jealousy for brushing off how bad we complained about the blue mage update because it's not a real job or whatever.
