Major adjustment to housing

The "problem" will never go away with the current system. Everyone wants a large and there is not even close to enough to go around. Nobody wants the small houses. People grab them because they want to decorate something and there is nothing else left. Most people couldn't care less about the wards and having neighbors because it's a ghost town 90%+ of the time anyways.

Solution 9 is the perfect time to introduce a form of instance housing tbh. Call it digital housing or something. There would even be an excuse to make it so the rooms could be changed in size from small, medium, or large since it would all be digital. Will that happen? Doubt it. We will keep doing the same song and dance and probably be having this same discussion for the next decade lol.

They got no chance at housing.

Nothing stops them from occupying one of the many smalls available on every server while they hope to get lucky for their medium..

There's no reason for anyone who doesn't have a house to not occupy the available smalls.

The issue on Mateus, Balmung and any ''big'' server is that even smalls are won, and then not collected by the person who wins. And such it's even hard to get a small for people who does not have houses. I.E i've not been able to get a house over 178 tries.

i guess you lost your week bid on a house again now you come to the forums wanting instant housing. when i got my house on siren it took alot of clicking pain , i want that back. since it has not stop the crying from the defeated Warriors.

SE really should just Hydaelyn kick both Balmung and Mateus into 3 pieces each so we stop getting Balmung and Mateus people crying over their issue thinking it is entire FF14 community's issue
It is not like SE has never force split servers before and they have done it in FF11

I've said it's housing in general, and im not talking just mateus. A lot of other big worlds have the same issue. Stop taking it so personaly XD

I mean, I know hindsight is 20/20, but they should have just initially added the Dynamis worlds to the already crowded NA DCs. Then they could all que for duties together, and travel between them is a little easier. I think it would’ve been a lot easier to get people to spread out more that way. The problem with Dynamis is that, legit or not, it’s gotten a rep for being a dead DC that people only have as their home world for the real estate and “have” to DC travel for everything else. And that isn’t appealing to a lot of people.
