Hi, I've been here longer. I agree with lucifer.Being schooled on emotional range by someone with lucifer in their name might be one of wildest things ive ever heard but anyways i digress...Listen derailer...my comment is a catalyst for the much more obvious issues with ffxiv and i was simply making a reference to the MANY threads posted here on these forums by leading with that specific issue. You picked it apart and bravo because i should have been more specific but let's not sit here and act like the content itself is super engaging regardless of how much fluff there is to do. So here lets be specific since we are picking apart words and yes Im still doubling down...content structure is hamster wheel, severe over simplification, ridiculous amounts of attention to solo content in what is supposed to be an MMO, and for what its worth most people are only keeping subs to either afk in limsa or not lose their houses. Fyi ive been here since beta 1.0 so ive seen it all with this game so my passion for its success is different from yours. When u and other players get ur fill u leave and dont look back. Some of us who have been here since day one actually care about the games success and not just here for a good time to jump to the next fun ride elsewhere.

You also talk a lot about how the game is, but your lodestone shows you do almost no content...
33 mounts, and only 6k achievement points? I have over 20k pts and 160 mounts.
I realize this is all subjective, and people can have more than 1 character, but to make statements about the game like that when it seems you barely play is interesting.

I'm part about those people that don't care about raiding, and have to tell you, over the past 2 years, I've seen PLENTY of people complaining about the lack of easy to jump in/jump out group farming content with incentives outside of raiding. More often than not, it was just brought back to raiding by either raiders or the people telling this content was never there. I don't know how you did to miss those complains. But saying the forum keep complaining about ultimates or raid and not the other thing is just false.
I have nothing to prove and no reason to lie but believe what u want. Those stats honestly mean nothing and are completely subjective. I guess if i bragged that i was top 100 a few times in pvpv last year or my ilvl is 650+ it wouldnt matter either right? You also talk a lot about how the game is, but your lodestone shows you do almost no content...

I mean, Ilvl is meaningless. If you prefer pvp content that's valid, but talking about pve content when you don't really seem to do much of it is strange.

The Legends of the Titanmen lives on, a shining example of the power of compassion and the ability of people to make a difference in the world. A reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope, as long as there are heroes like the Titanmen who dare to do good deeds in Eorzea.

How is the MSQ being soloable ridiculous amounts of attention to solo content?
WoW and EverQuest II were baked in with the idea that there were solo questlines in every zone and someone could play all the way through those solo questlines by themselves. It was direct response to the forced grouping in EverQuest era MMOs. There were group activities and raid activities that had their own questlines and content that a soloer could move up into trying. And of course all raiders could do the group and solo content and all groupers could do the solo content. Even that wasn't a ridiculous amount of solo content because there was a hard ceiling for soloers. Just like there is here with the much-smaller main story questline.
You do realize pve content is how u get an ilvl of 650 or higher right? And no i dont use crafted gear minus the ring occasionally...I spent alot of my time making gil when content started to dry up close to 100mil to be exact and there aren't alot of achievements to reflect that and i could care less about collecting mounts or glamour but again believe what you want.

Death Is Only The Beginning....
Msq isnt the only solo content i was referring to be honest even if we single it out this is an mmo..if i wanted to not play with friends or make new ones id be playing a single player game. Final fantasy has historically been a single player franchise and there are other games for that type of focus in honest opinion. How is the MSQ being soloable ridiculous amounts of attention to solo content?
