It's a "real" summoner now if you don't look at the substance.

And really, was there any reason the flashy animations you love so much that gameplay be damned, couldn't have been attached to the more substantial job? We didn't need abandon the caster role or have a "rotation" that can be condensed to a single button macro that plays the job nigh perfectly for you, just to have precious big boom colors.

Why does the discussion always immediately reduce to "but animations" when that's just the skin for gameplay that's completely transferable?
