I won't believe it til I see it. He said Thaleia would have Ivalice's difficulty, and it's the weakest alliance raid in the entire game.

Thaleia had some challenge, at least compared to Aglaia and Euprhosyne. But it's still not exactly hard. The Nier raids and those two the biggest challenge is boredom as it's almost like the bosses are afraid of hurting you and the Nier ones had way too much health.

I find all three of the Myths raids so incredibly boring that I have stopped doing alliance roulette completely out of disinterest in ever touching those raids ever again. Like people rag on Crystal Tower, but at least Crystal Tower is fast. Myths is just “what if CT was twice as long?” And while a lot of CT mechanics aren’t hard and are easy to brute force anyway, at least there’s stuff going on. Literally like 90% of Myths is just in, out, left, right.Thaleia had some challenge, at least compared to Aglaia and Euprhosyne. But it's still not exactly hard. It's probably just PR speak but at least that means that some of the feedback has reached the devs.

Even if it's not entirely just PR speak, there's no guarantee that any of the changes have been implemented in Dawntrail. Since the dev team is unlikely to change anything big during an expansion, we may have to wait for 8.0 before we can see any of these changes come to fruition.
Only 7.0 and early 7.1 is developed, so we can still see changed to 7.1, which is dope, but yeah 7.0 is set in stone and is always somewhat engaging given it's new content, so we'll have to see how things shake out. XIV is also known very well for it's extreme changes so it will be interesting.Even if it's not entirely just PR speak, there's no guarantee that any of the changes have been implemented in Dawntrail. To be fair a lot of the potential changes they could make are also things that aren’t set in stone, like nerfs to the tanks 82 skills are 100% things that could be changed to make dungeons harder, same as changes to tank mastery because they are things that are on the job action trailer side and they are free reign right up to near the release date
You know it's bad when I had to ponder for a second whether or not this is actually sarcasm.
Because unironical takes like this actually exist.
Tank Mastery is a scam trait anyway. If it actually gave you 20% passive mitigation at all times you would never even need to pop a cooldown in dungeons. To be fair a lot of the potential changes they could make are also things that aren’t set in stone, like nerfs to the tanks 82 skills are 100% things that could be changed to make dungeons harder, same as changes to tank mastery because they are things that are on the job action trailer side and they are free reign right up to near the release date

the biggest issue was delubrum, southern front and zadnor are still plenty alive, but DR is such a speed trap.
i mean hes talking about stitistics, all the HC mmos died and flounders (tho most just released haphzard and shit, like new world)
wow retail still hs more ppl in it, but i cant say im excatly impressed if a games most exciting new feature was three versions of itself when people liked it more.

I like how everyone that defends the game being too simple and it having the perfect design don't even share the same opinion as yoship it just hurts them too much to be any amount of critical for this game.
