So I just got a bottle of Fantisa! I’m wanting to make a awesome gothic or emo female character! I’m playing dragoon. My choices are Viera of Elf. Be honest which one is fun?

They are supposedly working to add head gear now how much back stuff we will get remains to be seen.

Assume they will never add in Viera and Hrothgar hats, because they're never going to add Viera and Hrothgar hats. These races have been in the game for nearly 5 years, and people need to stop acting like the devs are going to ever address the issue. They've learned they can get away with limited races.

While not 100% confirmed happening, YoshiP mentioned at JPN Fanfest that they were going to try and get players a free fantasia for Dawntrail. Might be a pre-order bonus, or a bonus in the collectors edition. Or maybe they will just send everyone one.

They've said in a few interviews that they're working on it. But they've said they were working on a lot of things in the past that haven't panned out, so until it's in official patch notes and/or in game, don't count on it.

Wow, what you said was completely wrong. I guess you are very out of the loop in case of info.

1. They have confirmed that they are working on adapting all the hats for Hrothgar and Viera ( the newest one being in the interview with Yoshi P. for Play mag. He would not have said anything if it was not happening, but he confirmed that they are working on it)
2. You say they learned they can get away with limited races. And yet they still gave Viera and Hrothgar Hairstyles with every patch this expansion (+ they gave Viera some extra ones on EW launch, pushing them with 2 patches worth of Hairstyles in front of Hrothgar). Closing in on having access to almost all collectable Hairstyles in-game and some base ones.
3. It has been 100% confirmed that every player will receive a Fantasia prior to the New expansion so they can adjust their characters. They are going to graphically improve the whole game and characters, not just DT. The only characters that would not be improved with the launch of DT are some of the special ones.

With that out of the way, if you want to use headwear without having to gamble on it being one of the lucky exceptions then right now there's no real contest.
Play a dhalmel if you care about hats, otherwise if a neck of regular size is more to your tastes and you can make do with limited hats play a bunny.
I was going to mention femroe as an option but I can see that's what your current race is so I guess you're well aware of what you can do with that.
